About Us

The Volunteer Center of Morgan County, a non-profit organization, is the premier provider of volunteer programs and services. Annually, the Volunteer Center helps individuals, families, corporate, church, and community groups fill volunteer needs at over 200 community organizations. Volunteers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are mobilized to feed the hungry, serve seniors, protect the environment, mentor children and make a difference in our community in many other ways.

The Volunteer Center of Morgan County, Inc. mobilizes people and resources to address the issues that are important to the community and strengthens the capacity of local organizations to meet community needs through volunteerism.

The Volunteer Center of Morgan County began in 1970 and has a long history of community involvement in Morgan County and the surrounding areas. The Volunteer Center has always been an independent 501(c)3 and is funded by individual and corporate donations, grants from a variety of sources, United Way, and other local funding sources.
